Preservation of Digital Records and Imminent Legal Action - PRESS RELEASE

PRESS RELEASE

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
[09.15.2025]

Author Kris Courtney Announces Preservation of Digital Records and Imminent Legal Action Over Alleged Platform Suppression of Florida Retirement Is Murder

Sebring, FL — American Artist Author Kris Courtney, author and publisher of the international bestseller Florida Retirement Is Murder, today announced that all relevant digital records, communications, and metadata from the last 36 months are being collected and preserved for use in deposition, civil litigation, and criminal referral where warranted.

Courtney stated: “Following the sudden removal of the U.S. paperback listing (ASIN B0BRDPJXPM) on June 18, 2024, and the concurrent deletion of 30+ verified five-star reviews — together with sustained visibility suppression on major platforms — we have initiated a comprehensive evidence preservation program. This program includes capture and preservation of all platform logs, review histories, communications with third parties, advertising and indexing records, and traceable digital footprints relevant to this matter.”

Key points:

  • Evidence preservation covers all relevant ESI and communications from [June 1, 2023] to present.

  • Preservation includes platform logs, review moderation records, ad and indexing histories, email and messaging threads, and metadata necessary to establish chain of custody.

  • Litigation hold notices and preservation demands have been prepared and will be or have been sent to relevant platforms and third parties, with formal requests for production to follow through counsel.

  • The claims under review include alleged violations of federal and state antitrust law, unfair trade practices, censorship and content-suppression, and associated harms (economic and reputational). Civil remedies and punitive damages will be sought where justified; criminal referrals to appropriate authorities will be made if evidence suggests actionable criminal conduct.

Currently preparing to pursue all available legal remedies, including discovery to identify third parties, publishing agents, or other actors who may have participated in or directed the alleged suppression and review manipulation. Relevant evidence will be presented to regulators and law enforcement as appropriate.
